About the Artist Bill Tate was born at a very young age, and is a native of Florence, Alabama. As a middle child, of 5 siblings, Bill began drawing his masterpieces, that were soon to be hung on his mom's refrigerator. In elementary school his teachers would always call on him to help decorate their rooms with his latest holiday décor. And later, in high school, he was able to take art as an elective, and discovered his passion for painting. College gave him the opportunity to study many forms of art, and to make extra money, Bill would paint replicas of people's childhood homes. He would also create different art projects for a variety of different organizations and clubs on campus.
After many years, in the corporate world, Bill now spends most of his days serving in his church and creating beautiful stargazing murals for his 4th Day Creation's customers. |
4th Day Creations History 4th Day Creations was founded in 2006. When I first discovered how to create and replicate the beautiful nighttime sky, I couldn't wait to start painting my very own stargazing mural, on my ceiling. I have to admit, I wasn't too impressed with my work, but I kept trying. Before I moved from my two bedroom apartment, I painted a stargazing mural in every room, including the bathroom (laughing)! My friends and family started asking me how I do what I do. Before long, they were requesting their very own stargazing murals. With 4th Day Creations I was able to combine my passion for art, creativity and stargazing, all in one.
When I considered what to name my business, I was reminded of Genesis 1:16, God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. And, so...4th Day Creations Stargazing Murals was born. |
